Read all lines in bold.   The other questions are for you to choose from.  3 dots (…) indicate where you add your own answer.

(START OF SCRIPT)

1. Opening – read these lines

“They talk about us.”

“But they rarely talk to us.”

2. Introductions – this is where we get to know you

“My name is ...”

“Something you should know about me is...” Share something personal, fun or grounded so we get to know you.  E.g. ‘I can speak 3 different languages’

“I’m from ...”

“I moved when I was ... years old”

3. Questions about you – Choose one or two questions from each section that resonate with you.

Please include the question in your answer, eg:  ‘the change that I’m currently bringing to my community is ….

What people don’t see:

  • What change are you currently bringing to your community?

  • What’s something about your journey that people misunderstand?

  • What’s one moment you’ll never forget?

  • Tell us about a time you were proud of yourself 

This is all about sharing moments of resilience, humor, connection, and honesty.

What you dream of:

  • What are your hopes for the future? 

  • What do you want to learn?

  • What do you want to build?

  • How do you hope to grow?

  • What do you look forward to in your future?

What you want leaders to know:

  • If you could speak directly to global leaders, what would you say?

  • Tell us why your voice is so important.

These two are starting points, but please add something else if you feel you have more to say. The tone here is assertive and strong, you're not pleading but instead using your voice in a powerful position. 

4. Collective Declaration – these are lines we’d like you to deliver in a powerful tone, looking directly into the lens

  • “We are more than statistics.”

  • “We’re young people with courage and ambitions.”

  • “Our voices should be heard.”

  • “We’re already here. Working. Studying. Contributing.
    And we know what works, because we live it every day.

  • We deserve a voice in the decisions that shape our lives.
    Not charity. Partnership.”

5. Closing statement – this is the final line to close

“The future is ours to build. Together.”
