Youth on the Move
The Capacity Building Sessions for young people aim to enhance their knowledge and awareness of different migration related topics, policy and governance, while also offering practical skills to support their professional growth and development.
Capacity Building
They aim to showcase youth leadership, expertise and lived-experience, relying on a peer to peer learning strategy, allowing for young participants to hear from other young people in a similar situation.
From March to May 2025, we hosted three 90-minute Capacity Building Sessions designed to equip young advocates with hands-on tools and insights in the field of migration and displacement. The sessions emphasized youth-led advocacy and expertise—five out of six speakers were under the age of 35 and all had direct experience in supporting or leading youth-driven initiatives.

Moving forward
We’ll host bimonthly sessions in July, September and November which will take place twice a day to ensure that people from across different timezones are able to join us. We are also happy to confirm that the sessions will be available in English, with live translation in French.
For those participants who attend 2 out of 3 sessions, we will be able to issue them an official participation certificate.
We will soon announce the registration for the sessions and more details.
